His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, patron of the Saudi International Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises, honored Bank Albilad, the gold sponsor of the forum, in the presence of the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah. The forum, organized by the Saudi Industrial Development Fund - SME Guarantee Program and the Saudi Credit and Savings Bank during the period 18-19 Rajab 1434 H, corresponding to 28-29 May 2013, discussed initiatives submitted by various parties and solutions and proposals for obstacles facing the SME sector.

Saleh bin Sulaiman Al Habib, General Manager of Corporate Banking at Bank Albilad, thanked the Minister of Finance for honoring Albilad and for sponsoring this forum. “Bank Albilad's participation in sponsoring this forum comes from its belief in the importance of this sector, which constitutes 93% of the size of enterprises in the Kingdom according to the latest statistics.”
Al Habib explained: “The bank's strategy has been included to cover this sector through the Kafalah program and support programs for SMEs and provide more specialized and innovative programs and the highest standards of service as a contribution from Albilad to the development of the national economy,” stressing that SMEs are the pulse of the country's economy
