According to the media spokesman, Colonel Khaled Al-Juhani, four rescue teams, six firefighting teams, ladders and ambulances rushed to the site, and the fire was limited to the backup generator as a result of overloads and continuous work, and the fire spread through the cables to the mezzanine, and the fire was controlled inside the hotel, and two firefighters were injured, one by simple suffocation and the other by burns due to contact with hot water.

It is noteworthy that the central area witnessed the outbreak of another fire at the Al-Bayaa power station, after which three rescue teams and three firefighting and ambulance teams rushed, and the fire was limited to a high-pressure cable that was controlled before it spread inside the basement of the station and the power supply was cut off from parts of the central area while hotels in the central area work with backup generators and lighting cars from the Civil Defense were stationed in the main streets.
