The Saudi Council of Engineers warned citizens and residents against dealing with unlicensed engineering offices or requesting services to certify engineering plans and papers from non-competent parties, making sure that the plans are signed by engineers accredited by the Saudi Council of Engineers. She invited them to take advantage of the complaints service and report violating engineering offices through a dedicated window on the Authority's official website.
In this regard, the Authority emphasized that the consumer and the direct beneficiary of engineering services is a partner in its monitoring of the quality of engineering services provided to him, and for his part, the official spokesman for the Authority, Director of Public Relations and Media, Engineer Abdulnasser Al-Abdullatif, confirmed that the Authority opened the door to submit complaints and reports directly and quickly to citizens, for anyone who exploits his license to do illegal and irregular work, by sending data and information about the violating engineering office or company, on the form for this on the official website of the Authority, indicating the keenness of the Authority in taking action.
Abdullatif stressed the importance of cooperation between the Authority and all segments of society, in order to work to develop the engineering services provided to citizens in the Kingdom, in addition to spreading the awareness of public control, in which the concerned parties in society participate to minimize violations that will affect them in particular, and the national economy in general.
