The Saudi Commission for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) was able to qualify 810 real estate valuers in most regions of the Kingdom, during which they obtained its temporary membership, which qualifies them to estimate the real value of the land subject to the application of the white land fee, whose executive regulations were approved by the Council of Ministers.Issam Al-Mubarak, Secretary General of the Authority, explained that the Authority granted temporary membership to 220 establishments and evaluation offices, after they registered their establishments in the Department of Consulting Professions in the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, after the members of these establishments obtained temporary membership of the Authority after a number of training courses, stressing that the Authority has not granted any accredited membership in real estate evaluation so far, as this requires people to pass 7 training courses in several specialties, indicating that the first person will obtain an accreditation license expected after a year and a half from now.Al-Mubarak pointed out that 97 members have passed more than half of the courses, which are an introduction to real estate finance, statistics and model and applications on the evaluation of residential and commercial properties in addition to understanding the basics of statistics and statistical analysis and how to use these skills in real estate evaluation practice, and this course concluded with an introduction to real estate financing markets and credit conditions and their impact on evaluation.
