Draft law gives families of martyrs of duty priority in «real estate» and land

The Security Committee of the Shura Council, headed by Major General Abdullah Al-Saadoun, has finished studying members" notes and opinions on the draft Martyr of Duty Law and its equivalent, according to the final draft of the project, whose provisions apply to any military or civilian who was legally assigned, attached or contracted to work abroad and died or became disabled there and the death or injury was due to terrorist acts, war or targeting with the intention of harming the Kingdom, as well as any member of his family if he was accompanied by him while working abroad.

The Security Committee of the Shura Council has completed its consideration of members' notes and opinions regarding the draft of the Martyr of Duty Law and its equivalent.

The Security Council Committee had redrafted the entire system and added new articles and chapters to contribute to achieving the objectives of the system to contribute to achieving a suitable standard of living for the injured and their families, the families of martyrs, prisoners and missing persons, encouraging the spirit of sacrifice and self-sacrifice in order to preserve the security of the homeland and protect its sanctities and gains, strengthening the bond between the ruler and society, encouraging courage in repelling aggression and combating terrorism, in addition to protecting the rights of the martyr of duty and the like, prisoner, missing and injured persons.
