The Board of Directors of Tamkeen reviewed in its last meeting the progress of work in the housing projects implemented by the company in a number of cities in the Eastern Province, and that they are proceeding according to the plans drawn before.
Ihsan Abdul Jawad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tamkeen for Investment and Real Estate Development, confirmed the success of the meeting, noting that the work progress was reviewed in the presence of all board members, namely: Engineer Faris Al Balawi, Vice Chairman, Omar Al Balyhad, and Engineer Hamed Bin Hamri, CEO and Managing Director. The Board was briefed on the phased plans for the implementation of projects, and reviewed the level of achievement achieved in the “White Houses” project implemented by the company in the Doha Hills neighborhood in Dhahran, which includes the development of 64 housing units with the best engineering and architectural specifications, stressing that the company is heading to implement a number of giant housing projects that will be revealed in the next phase.

Abdul Jawad added that the Board approved the initial development plan to be followed by the company in 2011 to enable it to increase its pioneering role in the field of housing development and contribute to solving the housing crisis in the Kingdom as one of Tamkeen's strategic objectives, which seeks to provide innovative housing solutions with high specifications, characterized by affordable prices for the Saudi family.
