A GASTAT official confirmed that fictitious real estate deals are on their way to disappear as the registration of deals becomes electronic.

An official from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said that the percentage of fictitious real estate deals is not significant.

Ibrahim Al-Hamizi, Director General of the Methodologies and Statistical Coordination Department at the General Authority for Statistics, explained that the current percentage of fictitious real estate transactions is not significant.

During a workshop entitled "Real Estate Price Index" within the activities of the Eastern Real Estate Exhibition "Restatex" held last week at Dhahran International Exhibitions, he explained that the Authority deals with the records and data available at the Ministry of Justice.
