The Governor of Qassim region, Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal Al Saud, revealed in an interview with Saudi TV that the Ministry of Housing projects in the region amount to 17 projects, of which 8 are regular, delayed 4 projects and stalled 5 projects, and that the number of delayed projects in the region amounted to about 350 projects representing 32 % of the total projects worth 7 billion riyals. He explained that the number of stalled projects is 190 projects representing 17.4 % worth 2.5 billion riyals, indicating that the total cost of projects in the Qassim region amounted to 31 billion riyals.

The Emir of Qassim pointed out that the number of projects of the Saudi Electricity Company is 35 projects, of which 26 are regular, 7 are delayed and 2 are stalled, the number of projects of the Municipality of the region is 654 projects, of which 338 are regular, 225 are delayed and 91 are stalled, and the number of projects of Qassim University is 26 projects, of which 21 are regular, 6 are delayed and 19 are stalled.

He pointed out that the number of projects of the General Directorate of Health Affairs is 28 projects, of which 9 are regular, 9 are delayed, 9 are delayed and 10 are stalled, the number of projects of the General Directorate of Water is 102 projects, of which 42 are regular, 37 are delayed and 23 are stalled, and the General Directorate of Roads is 57 projects, of which 30 are regular, 16 are delayed and 12 are stalled.

He mentioned that there are 34 projects for the Department of Education in Unaiza Governorate, including 27 regular, 13 late and 3 stalled projects, 17 projects for the Department of Education in Al-Bukairiyah Governorate, including 5 regular, 3 late and 9 stalled, and 10 projects for the Department of Education in Al-Madhanib Governorate, 5 regular, 4 late and 1 stalled project.
