The Ministry of Housing has started negotiations with 190 companies working in the field of real estate development to build housing units, including 20 international companies, including Chinese, Turkish and Egyptian companies.
An adviser to the Minister of Housing Ahmed Mandoura said that the ministry aims to attract major American companies specialized in the housing market in Saudi Arabia, indicating that the ministry is ready to sign memorandums of understanding with American companies soon. He pointed out that the ongoing talks with the previously signed Egyptian companies are close to completion, indicating that the ministry is working to develop sites that have been nominated to these companies.
The adviser to the Minister of Housing explained that the percentage of white land area within cities in Saudi Arabia reaches 40%.
