The Ministry of Housing, represented by the White Land Fees Program, revealed the increase in the number of land development requests received by the secretariats and municipalities of the cities subject to the fees, with Riyadh achieving an increase of 25%, indicating that this is one of the objectives of imposing white land fees, which is to increase the supply of developed land.

The Ministry of Housing, represented by the White Land Fees Program, revealed an increase in the number of land development requests received. Engineer Mohammed Al-Madhiem, General Supervisor of the program, explained that the four cities (Jeddah, Riyadh, Makkah and Dammam Metropolis) are witnessing an increase in development requests, stressing that the program does not include any exemptions or exceptions, pointing out that there are contraindications to the imposition of fees stipulated in the executive regulations of the White Land Fees System, and explained that the presence of valleys does not prevent the imposition of fees but affects the value of the land and thus the value of the fee.

White Land Fees With regard to moving to the next stages of the system, Al-Madihim explained that the transition from one stage to another is based on comprehensive studies of each stage separately and the extent to which its objectives are achieved.

Al-Madihim added that the inventory of land is the most important aspect of the system. <He added that the inventory of unregistered lands is still ongoing in cooperation with several governmental and non-governmental entities, including the Ministry of Justice, secretariats and the National Information Center.
