The distribution of the keys to the villas, which aim to house 1,200 citizens, took place during a special ceremony organized by the Group last week at Nayara Hall in Riyadh, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Housing Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Haqeel, His Excellency the Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency Dr. Ahmed bin Abdulkarim Al Khulaifi, His Excellency the Chairman of Samba Financial Group Mr. Essa bin Mohammed Al Eisa, senior officials, and a number of beneficiary families.
The distribution of residential villas by Samba comes as the third installment of the community housing initiative launched by Samba Financial Group last year, which aims to distribute 500 fully furnished housing units ready for immediate occupancy, the costs of which are fully borne by the Group, while the Group entered into a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Housing, under which the Ministry selects families eligible for the initiative's units from among the most needy community groups, whose names are included in the lists of applicants for the Ministry's programs to obtain decent housing.
Samba Financial Group's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Issa bin Mohammed Al Eissa, and senior officials participated in the ceremony. <In his speech, Mr. Essa bin Mohammed Al-Essa, Chairman of Samba Financial Group, stressed that: “The story of Samba's loyalty to the country and its people did not only start today through this initiative, but its structure and chapters have accumulated over the days, and its branches have extended across the country's squares and squares, and the Samba Community Housing Initiative is only some of the ABCs of that story, and the title of our celebration today is nothing but a verse of poetry from a magnificent commentary, overflowing with giving and leadership, and bringing good news to the giving country, pointing out the consistency of this initiative with Vision 2030 and its developmental advancement aimed at enhancing the quality of life and well-being of the people of the country.”.
