«Finance» E-Government Procurement Project to be launched soon

<The Ministry of Finance has issued a circular to all government entities that will be procuring or offering tenders through the e-Government Procurement Project to provide them with the current status of the working environment in the field of government tenders. <The ministry said in a statement: The circular aims to estimate the actual capacity of the government procurement system, issue the necessary licenses for employees and estimate training needs through a questionnaire prepared for this purpose, which includes the number of branches of government agencies and the number of employees authorized to complete the issuance and submission of government tenders, as well as the number of direct purchase orders and public tenders.

<The Ministry of Finance has set a deadline of one month from Muharram 3 to receive feedback from government agencies. The ministry stated that the project aims to establish a unified electronic system for government procurement used by government agencies to carry out all procurement operations and government tenders easily and at the highest levels of efficiency and quality.

The ministry indicated that the project aims to establish a unified electronic system for government procurement used by government agencies. <Through the Saudi Electronic Information Exchange Company (Tebadul), the Ministry intends to launch the e-Government Procurement Project, which is one of the national projects included in the National Plan for e-Government Transformation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Finance said that the project will be launched through the Saudi Electronic Information Exchange Company (Tebadul). The Ministry of Finance said that the project will contribute to achieving the automation of the government tenders and procurement system, unifying government procurement procedures and processes, establishing a unified standard system, strengthening control and audit systems on procurement processes, and enhancing the spirit of justice and transparency.
