The ministry indicated that the project aims to establish a unified electronic system for government procurement used by government agencies. <Through the Saudi Electronic Information Exchange Company (Tebadul), the Ministry intends to launch the e-Government Procurement Project, which is one of the national projects included in the National Plan for e-Government Transformation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This project aims to establish a unified electronic system for government procurement used by government entities to carry out all government procurement and tendering processes easily and at the highest levels of efficiency and quality.
The Ministry of Finance said that the project will be launched through the Saudi Electronic Information Exchange Company (Tebadul). The Ministry of Finance said that the project will contribute to achieving the automation of the government tenders and procurement system, unifying government procurement procedures and processes, establishing a unified standard system, strengthening control and audit systems on procurement processes, and enhancing the spirit of justice and transparency.
