<From January 25-28, the second edition of the “Pioneering Public Transport Projects” exhibition and forum will be held in the Kingdom at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center with the support and supervision of the Ministry of Transport under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh. The event will feature three main exhibitions under one roof: (TRANS4 SAUDI ARABIA, SAUDI RAIL and SAUDI LOGITRANS to form the largest annual event specialized in the sector of public transport projects, services, supplies and industries in the Kingdom (trains, metro, stations, buses, services and supporting works), organized by Ramtan Exhibitions and Conferences and Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd. with the participation of ministries, authorities and government institutions related to these projects, especially the Ministry of Transport, the General Corporation for Saudi Railways, and the Higher Authority of Riyadh. Saudi Railways, the Supreme Authority for the Development of Riyadh (King Abdulaziz Project for Public Transport in Riyadh), the development authorities of some cities and the secretariats of the regions where new public transport projects have been approved, as well as a wide participation of local and international companies and alliances specialized in the design, implementation and construction of public transport projects (metro) within cities and projects (trains) between regions and related facilities, facilities and services, which will present their experiences, products, works and services in this large and pioneering gathering.
On this occasion, Hussein Al-Faraj, CEO of this event, said that the patronage of His Highness the Emir of Riyadh will enhance the value of this event and highlight the size and magnitude of the budgets allocated by the state and the projects approved by hundreds of billions of riyals to build a huge civilized and developmental public transportation network within the main cities that constitute an economic shift and social service within Saudi cities, as well as to connect the Kingdom with neighboring brotherly countries and the contribution of these projects in promoting and developing trade and future social communication and facilitate the transportation services of goods and individuals, adding that high content and attendance workshops will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition, and are being prepared.
