The Ministry of Housing confirmed in a statement earlier this week that the number of housing projects it is embarking on has reached 53 projects that provide more than 95,000 housing units characterized by quality implementation and affordable price, to contribute to meeting a high percentage of the demand for housing support, as part of the ministry's efforts to achieve the objectives of the housing program “one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030” to raise the percentage of residential ownership to 60% by 2020, and reach 70% by 2030, (housing projects).
Projects that meet the Wafi Committee's requirements

Residential program The Ministry of Housing has announced the start of construction work in 6 new housing projects within the housing projects offered by the program during the last period in partnership with the private sector, as these projects provide about 9900 thousand housing units. The Ministry explained that construction is currently underway in 6 new residential projects in partnership with the private sector, providing 9873 housing units of various types (apartments - townhouses - villas), indicating that the implementation came after completing the procedures for booking these units, in accordance with the conditions and controls established by the Sale or Leasing Committee on the map, stressing the need for developers to adhere to the time plans and technical specifications specified for each project to complete the implementation perfectly in preparation for handing them over to citizens.
Qiran Pulse Project“
The projects are distributed in 4 different areas, including Nabed Qiran Located north of Riyadh on a vast area of more than 1.2 million square meters, the project will provide more than 4358 residential units distributed in different models ranging from townhouses and apartments to meet all desires, and the project will enable its residents to access basic services within the boundaries of the project, as it includes schools, hospitals, health clinics, shopping centers, in addition to family and children's centers.
Mada Oasis Project“
It also includes the “Mada Oasis” project located west of Dammam on a total area of more than 20,000 square meters, the project provides 282 apartments with a starting price of 308,000 riyals with a monthly installment starting from 1027 riyals per month, and the “Al-Bayraq Villas” project northwest of Al-Ahsa city and provides 192 units of villa type with prices starting from 698,000 riyals.
Al Jawhara Residence and Finan“
As for the projects in Jeddah, work has begun on the “Al Jawhara Residence” and ”Finan” projects located next to King Abdullah Sports City, where the former provides 990 apartments, while the latter provides 1407 apartment-type residential units, integrated with all government services, public and commercial facilities.
Durrat Al Madina 2 Project“
Construction has also begun on the Durrat Al Madina 2 project along King Abdullah Road in Medina, which provides 1,877 apartments and includes many public services and facilities.
Integration of infrastructure and service networks
The Ministry is keen to ensure that the implemented projects are of high quality and affordable prices ranging from 250,000 to 750,000, with integrated infrastructure such as water, electricity, communications, lighting and sidewalks, in addition to sites allocated for schools, mosques, parks, green spaces and commercial facilities, in addition to sites allocated to government agencies to be integrated residential projects that provide their residents with all the services they need.
53 residential projects providing 100,000 housing units
It is noteworthy that “Sakani” announced in mid-January the start of construction of 45 residential projects distributed in 16 different cities, followed by two projects last March, in addition to the current 6 projects, bringing the total to 53 residential projects that provide more than 95 thousand housing units. The program also announced the names of 200 thousand citizens who can benefit this year from the various options provided by the “Sakani 2019“ program, which provides ready-made housing units within the ministry's projects and units under construction in partnership with real estate developers, free land and subsidized mortgages to benefit from buying ready-made units on the market, self-construction for those who own land, and financing the existing loan, based on the target of accelerating the acceleration of housing construction Construction in partnership with real estate developers, free land and subsidized mortgage loans to benefit from buying ready-made units from the market, self-construction for those who own land, and financing the existing loan, based on the goal of accelerating ownership and raising its percentage to 60% by 2020 and 70% by 2030 in accordance with the objectives of the housing program "one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030", reducing waiting lists and providing more housing opportunities suitable for different segments of society in all regions of the Kingdom.
