The Ministry of Commerce has prepared an implementation plan for the gradual return of its employees to workplaces after the precautionary measures taken by the Kingdom to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus, as the plan has identified five directions on which it proceeds, namely, analyzing jobs, developing and introducing policies, enabling electronic transformation, preparing the work environment and communicating with employees who number 2964 employees.

The first phase will prepare the return of 1765 employees, followed by the second phase to jump to 2334 employees, and the third phase to 2893 employees, and the plan excludes those with chronic diseases and people with special needs.

The ministry indicated that it will work with a flexible work system and divide employees into shifts to reduce the chances of congestion, and the new plan will also redistribute offices to ensure that work aids are not shared between employees, and the commitment to limit gatherings to no more than 3 people and maintain a space of one and a half meters between each person and another.
