How inspiring and innovative Vision 2030 was when it bet on the ability of Saudi women to be a true partner in the advancement of the Kingdom and redrawing the contours of a new state, based on all citizens, both men and women.

How inspiring and innovative was Vision 2030 when it bet on the ability of Saudi women to be a true partner in the advancement of the Kingdom.

When the Crown Prince announced the vision in the summer of 2016, His Highness chose to launch the vision from strong pillars and constants, most notably the Saudi Eve, who did not get her full opportunity to prove herself during the past period, and the vision came to announce a new era for women, an era that invites them to exert and give alongside their male counterparts, for the sake of the nation.

Today, the vision is reaping the fruits of the reforms it created and paved the way for women's participation in comprehensive development, and because Saudi women were waiting for this opportunity impatiently, they did not want to miss it, so they invested in it the best investment, and wanted to prove to themselves and to those who matter that they are trusted, and not long ago, the Saudi Eve became an important element of the Kingdom's strength, and had a clear share in building the aspirations of the vision and realizing them. Through many initiatives of the National Transformation Program system and the National Center, which contributed to the Kingdom's progress for the second consecutive year in laws and regulations related to women, according to the report issued by the World Bank Group, which aims to compare the level of discrimination in gender regulations in the field of economic development and entrepreneurship among 190 countries.

Saudi women have succeeded in putting their own touch on redefining many concepts, participating in the implementation of the schemes promised by the vision, and playing a vital role in the Kingdom's development strategy, and the number of Saudi women holding senior management positions has increased over the past years, as the Kingdom began new reforms aimed at improving its record in women's empowerment and gender equality.

Saudi women have increased their number of senior management positions over the past years, as the Kingdom began new reforms aimed at improving its record in the field of empowerment and gender equality. <There was an initiative to provide childcare services for the children of working women, another to support and facilitate the transportation of working women through the “Wassoul" program, and a third to encourage remote work, which aims to provide a flexible method of employment, allowing more national workforce in the Kingdom who are difficult to commit to coming to the workplace, and other initiatives that aim to increase women's participation in the labor market, increase their contribution to economic and social development and involve them in various fields and levels

Last year, I will never forget the praise of the World Bank's report entitled "Women, Business and the Law 2020", which explicitly showed that the Kingdom topped the list of reform countries globally in the same year, after the rulers implemented historic reforms to improve women's participation in the economy, and these measures allowed freedom of travel and movement for women.

I can emphasize that what Saudi women got in Vision 2030 was a big dream come true. The Crown Prince's reforms for women are, to say the least, bold and courageous, because they established the legal rights of women in the Kingdom, and 5.5 million Saudi women over the age of 21 are already benefiting from these reforms, and they will continue to reap the benefits for generations to come.

This report explicitly stated that the Kingdom topped the list of reform countries in the world in the same year, after the Crown Prince implemented historic reforms to improve women's participation in the economy.
