A Saudi delegation, led by Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, begins a visit to the Sultanate of Oman today (Sunday) with the aim of strengthening and expanding the foundation of economic relations and mutual investments between the two brotherly countries.
Engineer Khalid Al-Falih said that during the visit, he will hold a series of meetings with a number of Omani officials in the government and private sectors, noting that the visit’s itinerary will also include the Omani-Saudi Investment Forum, a meeting of the Saudi-Omani Business Council, as well as a tour of the most important economic zones in the Sultanate of Oman.
Al-Falih emphasized that the Kingdom, through Vision 2030, and the Sultanate of Oman, through Vision 2040, and through their strategic locations and natural resources, are paving the way for integration across a number of economic sectors in the two brotherly countries and providing unique investment opportunities for local and international investors and companies.
He noted that the visit comes as part of the commitment of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and their brother, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, to deepen the fraternal ties between the two countries and achieve all that contributes to the prosperity and progress of both peoples.
It is worth noting that the Saudi delegation includes a number of officials from government agencies, as well as a large number of private-sector leaders and prominent Saudi businesspeople.
