The program issued 407,000 tax tolerance certificates for the first home

The first report of the Residential Program in 2021 revealed the success of the program in achieving its targets for 2020; by enabling 390819 Saudi families to benefit from housing options and solutions that meet their aspirations and capabilities, and facilitating access to the right housing faster and at a lower price within multiple options and an easy down payment, in an effort to raise the ownership rate to 70% by 2030 in accordance with the objectives of the Housing Program, one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

407 thousand tax tolerance certificates

The report showed that the total number of tax tolerance certificates for the first home since the beginning of the program until the end of last month reached 407,479 certificates for all beneficiaries from the Ministry of Housing, the Real Estate Development Fund and others, with the aim of increasing ownership rates among citizens, and the report included the most prominent achievements of the program during the past year 2020.

138 thousand families owned their homes

The report showed that the total number of families who benefited from all housing and financing options and solutions provided by the program during the past year was 390819 families, exceeding the target, despite the exceptional challenges of the Coronavirus pandemic, including 138317 families who lived in their homes, while other beneficiary families preferred the options of units under construction within the suburbs, residential lands and self-building, while 34011 families benefited last December from the “Sakani” program, including 15586 families who lived in their homes.

The report showed that the total number of families who benefited from the program during the past year was 390819 families, exceeding the target, despite the exceptional challenges of the Coronavirus pandemic.

100,000 different housing units

The report reviewed construction updates in 60 projects being implemented in partnership with qualified real estate developers from the private sector to provide more than 100,000 housing units ranging from apartments, villas and townhouses around the cities of the Kingdom within 93 projects under construction that provide more than 141,000 units offered through the platform and the “Sakani” application, and 42 ready-made housing projects with an average price of 350,000 riyals, which are characterized by their readiness for housing and completion of infrastructure, services and public facilities.

217 residential plans and 178 thousand residential lands

The report deals with the residential lands and the development of the plans that the “Sakani” website and application allows to select and reserve them in an easy electronic way within 217 residential plans that provide 178,489 thousand residential lands distributed in various regions and cities of the Kingdom.

Easy electronic services and procedures

The report also highlighted the easy electronic services and procedures provided by the “Sakani” application, including immediate eligibility, reviewing various housing and financing options, immediate reservation of units and lands, issuing quotes, issuing land contracts electronically, benefiting from the real estate consultant service, choosing typical designs for self-build beneficiaries and issuing building permits electronically, documenting and issuing rental contracts, and electronic waiver of housing support between spouses.

The report also highlighted the electronic services and procedures provided by the "Sakani" application.
