<His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region and Chairman of the Riyadh Region Council, chaired the meeting at his office in the Palace of Governance yesterday, which was dedicated to reviewing the Riyadh Region Projects Follow-up Program, which is carried out by the Higher Authority for the Development of Riyadh City. The program is concerned with the inventory and follow-up of approved and ongoing projects in the region, assessing the progress of their implementation and the obstacles facing them, forming a comprehensive vision of the development situation in the region, and clarifying the status of these projects in terms of the appropriate implementation workflow and what is delayed or stalled in the approved time period for each project."

<The meeting discussed the results of the eighth edition of this program, which indicated that the Riyadh region is currently witnessing the implementation of 4821 projects at a total cost of 509 billion riyals, carried out by 66 stakeholders in the region, covering each of the sectors: Public Utilities, Roads, Education, Health, Recreation, Culture, Environment, Housing and Economic Development.
His Highness directed to activate the necessary mechanisms to address the situation of delayed and stalled projects in the region, whether related to the project owner or the implementing contractor, in order to overcome the obstacles facing them, find solutions to accelerate their completion, and find ways to increase the efficiency of their implementation
