“SAR Hires and trains 150 cadres at the Railway Institute

The Saudi Institute for Railways (SIRP). 150 trainees from the employees of the Saudi Railways Company (SAR) who recently completed their employment procedures for the purpose of training them and enrolling them in various training programs at the institute.

Al-Suqeer pointed out that this privilege comes in recognition and appreciation of the sacrifices made by the martyrs of duty to this generous country, adding: “It is our duty as national authorities to take care of the children of martyrs and their families, whom we are proud of them and the sacrifices they made for the country.”

For his part, the Chairman of the Institute's Board of Directors and CEO of SAR, Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed Al Rumaih praised the role of the institute in providing high technical qualification to the youth of the country to enable them to assume all tasks of operation, management and maintenance of all facilities and components of the railway sector. He also explained that SAR is working to achieve optimal integration between the global operator of the institute, Pearson, and the British consortium led by Serco, which manages the operation and provides technical support to SAR. This will activate the company's orientation in transferring railway technologies to the Kingdom and localizing its future jobs by applying the skills they have acquired in the real work environment, in addition to the possibility of seconding them to work for periods ranging from 6 months to a year at sites belonging to the consortium companies in Britain or elsewhere to gain more practical experience.
