Building on the success achieved by the fourth edition of the Jeddah Projects Documentation Traveling Exhibition during its first and second phases, the third and final phase of the fourth edition of the traveling exhibition documenting Jeddah’s projects kicked off yesterday, Sunday, at Aziz Mall in downtown Jeddah, and will continue until the third day of the blessed month of Ramadan.
It is worth noting that the second phase of the exhibition featured the participation of 19 government sectors, which participated to inform citizens about the latest developments in modern projects and highlight the province’s urban and developmental leap forward. The new King Abdulaziz International Airport embodies the Kingdom’s urban leap forward in the air transport industry, followed by the Jeddah Metro public transportation project, as well as tunnel and bridge projects and model suburbs to be developed—such as the “Heart of Jeddah” and “Al-Murooj” suburbs—in addition to projects related to water and electricity networks, education, transportation, industrial cities, and the Thul development project.
On this occasion, His Royal Highness Prince Mishaal bin Majid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah, that the exhibition represents part of a journey of achievement, work, and mission pursued by the state to ensure that all Saudi cities serve as models within the network of cities with the highest performance and service standards in the region and the world, noting that every citizen who loves this country feels happy when they see their city flourish, prosper, and advance in order to build the Saudi people and achieve a qualitative leap forward scientifically, culturally, economically, intellectually, architecturally, and in terms of development across all fields. His Highness said: “Every citizen, without exception, has a role to play in serving their city, because it represents them—for better or for worse.”
