Rahman Al-Tawil, Undersecretary of Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, expected the construction of 300 thousand housing units in Saudi Arabia before the end of 2025, indicating that the ministry has completed about 50 thousand housing units.
Tawil said in statements to Al-Sharq News Channel that the Kingdom is working through companies affiliated with ministries in addition to the private sector, to increase the number of housing units in the market. He explained that the value of the investments made by the ministries, in addition to the private sector, is increasing the number of housing units in the market. He explained that the value of investments in infrastructure, construction of units and services in the housing sector in the Kingdom exceeds 200 billion riyals, expecting this value to increase in the future.
Tawil stressed that Riyadh has completed 50,000 housing units, and expects this value to increase in the future. Al-Tawil stressed that Riyadh is witnessing a different real estate movement, especially with the development of more than 50 million meters, in projects such as Al-Fursan and Khuzam suburbs, the new square, and Qiddiya.
