Tabuk Municipality issues 370 building compliance certificates to improve the urban landscape

The Tabuk Region Secretariat and its affiliated municipalities continue to issue building compliance certificates aimed at ensuring that owners of commercial and residential buildings, as well as usufructuaries, to ensure their buildings are free of visual distortions, in order to provide a healthy and sustainable urban environment, enhance the urban landscape, improve quality of life, and increase the city’s visual appeal.

More than 370 building compliance certificates issued in Tabuk

The Municipality clarified that, to date, it has issued more than 370 building compliance certificates throughout the Tabuk region and its affiliated municipalities, with the Secretariat—represented by the Northern and Southern Municipalities—issuing 250 certificates, while the Municipality of Tayma led the affiliated municipalities with 45 compliance certificates.

It noted that the grace period for rectifying violations extends until February 18, 2024, after which compliance will become mandatory for all buildings located within the routes specified on the interactive map for compliance certificates in the “Baladi” app.

Building owners are urged to take advantage of the corrective period

The Secretariat called on owners of commercial and residential buildings, as well as usufruct rights holders, to take advantage of the grace period and promptly address all elements of visual distortion in their buildings in accordance with the procedures manual, They can also issue a “Building Compliance Certificate” or assess a building’s compliance through the Balady app via the link onelink.to/baladyapp.

It is worth noting that the Secretariat previously honored a number of compliant establishments for their initiative in taking advantage of the corrective grace period, It also expressed its gratitude to building owners, government agencies, and the private sector for their active contribution to enhancing the city’s visual appeal by issuing Building Compliance Certificates.
