Al-Zakari added that the efforts cover all regions of the Kingdom, and aim to provide model housing that complies with safety and health standards, and ensures social protection for workers, guaranteeing their rights to appropriate housing during their work period.
He pointed out that the cooperation between the program and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (MHUD) is a key element of the program. He pointed out that the fruitful cooperation between the participating authorities and the private sector resulted in tangible achievements during 2023 and 2024, reflected in everyone's commitment to work to develop a housing system that meets all technical and health requirements, while seeking more achievements in the coming year.
It is noteworthy that the National Program for the Development of Collective Housing for Individuals, whose board of directors is chaired by the Minister of Municipalities and Housing and includes 10 government agencies, aims to upgrade the collective housing system for individuals and provide a suitable housing environment for workers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve the objectives of the Quality of Life Program - one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
