“Engineering and Quality of Life” forum kicks off in Riyadh on December 16

<The Saudi Council of Engineers will organize the “Engineering and Quality of Life” forum, in strategic partnership with the Quality of Life Program, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, on December 16 and 17 in Riyadh.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Saudi Council of Engineers , Engineer Ahmed bin Tares Al-Sheikh, explained that the forum aims to contribute effectively and support the objectives and initiatives of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically the quality of life, as it highlights the topics related to the quality of life from its engineering perspective, by hosting the most prominent authorities and relevant personalities for dialogue with them during the forum.

Sheikh pointed out that the forum aims to discuss the issues related to the quality of life. He pointed out that the forum provides a platform for engineers and those interested in quality of life to exchange ideas, experiences and knowledge about the latest innovations and developments in this field, by reviewing the most important models of quality of life in the Kingdom, presenting new engineering and technical projects that contribute to improving the quality of life, and raising awareness of the importance of the role of the engineering sector in improving the quality of life and solving issues related to health, environment and society.

He emphasized that engineering is a key component of the Kingdom's vision 2030, specifically the quality of life. He emphasized that engineering is a key element in enhancing the quality of life, which achieves positive economic and social impacts, by designing engineering projects according to standards that raise the standard of living, provide a healthy and safe environment, promote economic growth, and contribute to achieving the goals of Vision 2030, in reaching a vibrant society, an ambitious homeland, and a prosperous economy.

Engineer Al-Sheikh emphasized that the choice of Riyadh to host the forum is the culmination of efforts to transform it into a global city with a high level of quality of life, where the efforts of the public and private sectors are integrated to provide an attractive and sustainable environment.

The forum targets engineers, owners of engineering offices and companies, architects and urban planners, representatives of the government sector from housing, urban planning, transportation and real estate developers, investors interested in projects to improve the quality of life and sustainable infrastructure, technical companies and smart solution providers, in addition to students and trainee engineers, calling on everyone to participate in the forum and benefit from the discussions and workshops and from the new engineering and technical projects that will be presented at the forum.
