In the food and beverage section, prices rose by 0.8%, driven by a sharp increase in meat and poultry prices which recorded a rise of 29%. The miscellaneous personal goods and services section recorded an increase of 2.2% as a result of a 20.2% increase in the prices of jewelry, watches, and antiques.

Restaurants and Hotels saw an increase of 0.9%, influenced by an increase in the prices of hotel and furnished apartment services, which rose by 2.3%.

Increase in education costs and decrease in furnishing prices

According to the data, the education section recorded an increase of 1.1%, driven by a 1.8% increase in middle and high school tuition fees.
