Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center carried out more than 16,000 monitoring tours on project works in Riyadh city and the governorates of the region during the month of March, resulting in the detection of more than 2300 violations, and the center received more than 18,000 reports on works violating the controls and requirements of infrastructure projects.

The violations varied between not cleaning the work sites during and after its completion, not placing a warning light on the entire traffic diversion, in addition to not placing plates bearing the name of the owner of the work, the supervising consultant and the contractor's name, in addition to the contractor's failure to place the logo of the service agency, the contractor's logo and his name on the temporary barriers.

The center aims to reduce the number of violations of the regulations and requirements of infrastructure projects. The Center aims through these control tours to raise compliance rates, ensure adherence to technical standards for infrastructure projects, and enhance their quality and safety, which contributes to improving the urban landscape and environmental sustainability towards sustainable infrastructure.
