The Medina Chamber issued its economic report for the governorates of the Medina region for the first quarter of 2025, including an analysis of the reality of the economic performance of the region's governorates and an assessment of the performance of the main sectors.

The report dealt with geographical and demographic data, as the Medina region extends over an area of (150) thousand km², with a population of (2,137,983) people, distributed in Medina, the seat of the Emirate, and eight governorates, in addition to (101) administrative centers.

The report showed that the economic performance of the governorates of the region was analyzed in the first quarter of 2025. <The report showed that Madinah leads the governorates in terms of population with 1,477,047 people, followed by Yanbu (359,631), Al-Ula (60,103), Badr (58,259), Mahad (48,590), Khaybar (45,532), Al-Hanakiyah (43,256), Wadi Al-Farra (23,120) inhabitants, and Al-Eis (22,445) inhabitants, noting that Mahd governorate is the largest in terms of area (24,685) km², followed by Al-Hanakiyah (22,265) km², Al-Ala (22,561) km², Khaybar (19,976) km², Al-Eis (11,256) km², Yanbu (10,679) km², Wadi Al-Farq (9,518) km², and Badr (6,918) km².
