Saudi Airlines added two Boeing B777 aircraft to its fleet, one for cargo and the other for guest transportation, at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
Saudi Airlines had announced that it was about to receive a new batch of Boeing aircraft as part of its strategic plan to double the size of the fleet within five years.
Assistant General Manager of Saudi Airlines for Public Relations, Abdulrahman Al-Fahad, explained that Saudi Airlines is determined to achieve the goals of its new strategic plan, and is moving on this path with steady and clear steps.

It is worth mentioning that Saudi Airlines currently owns (122) aircraft, including (19) B777-368ER and (22) B777-268ER, and according to the new strategic plan of Saudi Airlines, the size of the fleet will reach more than (200) aircraft by 2020, as it signed agreements with Airbus to purchase (50) new aircraft within three years.
