The Real Estate Development Fund appreciated the decision of the Council of Ministers to extend the work of the "Easy Mortgage" program for an additional three years, stressing that the decision reflects the keenness of the wise leadership - may God protect them - to support and empower the beneficiaries of the Saudi family to facilitate their journey of ownership of the first home within supportive programs and various financing solutions.
Spokesperson for the Real Estate Development Fund Saeed Al-Zahrani explained that the "Easy Mortgage” program is one of the financing solutions aimed at facilitating the journey of ownership by reducing the burden of the down payment on the beneficiaries of housing support. Saeed Al-Zahrani, spokesperson for the Real Estate Fund, explained that the “Easy Mortgage” program is one of the financing solutions that aim to facilitate the journey of ownership by reducing the burden of the down payment on the beneficiaries of housing support, by reducing the payment percentage from (10 %) to (5 %), for the first home.
He added that the program contributes to the support and empowerment of the beneficiaries of the Saudi family to facilitate the journey of ownership of the first home through various support programs and financing solutions. He added that the program contributes to raising the value of the financing obtained by the beneficiary up to (95%) of the total price of the housing unit provided that its price does not exceed (800) thousand riyals, which gives the beneficiary the opportunity to own a housing unit under construction or a ready-made housing unit within various financing options and solutions that meet his needs and in proportion to his financing capabilities to own it.
Al-Zahrani explained that this program comes within the ongoing efforts to support and improve the ability of beneficiaries to own their homes easily and easily, in order to achieve the objectives of the housing program - one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 - pointing out that the number of beneficiaries of the program since its launch has reached more than (114638) beneficiaries.
