The headquarters of the Council of Saudi Chambers in Riyadh recently hosted the joint meeting of the Saudi-British Business Council, during which they discussed aspects of joint cooperation in the economic and commercial fields between the two friendly countries, and mechanisms to support and develop them to meet the ambitions and desires of the leaderships of the two kingdoms and the interests of the two peoples.
The meeting discussed the importance of developing trade and investment relations between the business sectors of the two countries and accelerating efforts to enhance the commercial partnership through the establishment of joint projects to support technology, knowledge transfer and service delivery in the key sectors of health care, education and training, and exchange of experiences in the development of small and medium enterprises.
The meeting also reviewed the efforts of the Joint Business Council during its current session, which will end next January, and the achievements made in various sectors, agreements and understandings, as well as reports on the Council's efforts to develop trade and investment relations between the two countries and the results of the work of the working groups emanating from it.
