The Saudi Arabian Mining Company “Ma'aden” revealed the values and standards of transparency enjoyed by the company, explaining that it represents its open message and its address in dealing, this came in a paper presented by Bakr Al-Hoboub, Secretary General of the Board of Directors of “Ma'aden”, in the seminar “Smash Corruption” organized by the National Anti-Corruption Commission “Nazaha” on the occasion of the celebration of the International Anti-Corruption Day, and said that the company was keen to be “integrity” on the list of its values, which includes credibility, justice and the application of the highest ethical and professional standards in its internal relations and with all stakeholders.
Al-Haboub pointed out that the company has prepared since early after its listing on the financial market, high standards and a comprehensive governance system that aims to raise the level of transparency and control the set of relationships between the company's management, the board of directors, owners and all related parties, it is the method through which the structure is presented to determine the company's objectives, monitor performance and results and guide the successful way to exercise and manage power, and through which all incentives, such as investment returns, shareholders' rights and investment value, as well as minimizing conflict of interest cases.
Al-Haboub pointed out that the company has been keen on "integrity" in the list of its values, which includes credibility, fairness and applying the highest ethical and professional standards in its internal relations with all its stakeholders. Al-Haboub considered corporate governance as one of the antidotes to the poison of corruption, explaining that there are no successful organizations that do not adhere to the principles of governance, and this does not mean stagnation, but rather the governance system must adapt to future opportunities and concerns by improving processes and practices.
