At the conclusion of Expo 2025 in Japan, Engineer Al Sultan stressed that the transfer of the flag from Japan to Riyadh is an important milestone in the Kingdom's journey towards hosting the world in Expo 2030 Riyadh, and an announcement to start the countdown to organize an unprecedented edition of the world's most prominent exhibition."

Engineer Al Sultan said His Excellency explained that this event embodies a new stage in the Kingdom's march towards the future, thanks to the unlimited support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God support him - and the direct leadership of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in addition to the concerted efforts of all state institutions and the great welcome of citizens and residents of the Kingdom in general and Riyadh in particular, to provide an exceptional experience that reflects the Kingdom's excellence and leadership in organizing global events and embodies its vision to build a more innovative and cooperative future for the entire world.

For his part, the CEO of Expo 2030 Riyadh, Mr. H.E.
