His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, stressed that the Eastern Chamber was and still is one of the distinguished chambers of commerce in the Kingdom and the men who founded it were able with the determination of men to achieve an edifice that is proud of today.
. <“Endowments are as old as history, even if they differ in methods, but we find in our great Islamic history endowments that are still to this day, some of them more than a thousand years old and are still standing, known and known, and what exists of endowments in the Kingdom is very large, thank God, and this shows that goodness remains in the people of this country.”“
His Highness went on to say: The contracting sector is one of the very important sectors, but there are some companies, unfortunately, that either did not estimate what they applied for in terms of amount or duration or their capabilities are not at the required level, and this is not a defect, as there must be small, medium and large companies, but we hope that the study is clear before entering into projects so that this matter does not lead to stumbling and therefore incur losses that they do not need.“.
For his part, President of the Eastern Chamber Abdulrahman Al-Attishan delivered a speech in which he explained that the Eastern Chamber does not only seek to serve the issues of the economy and the business sector, but it has been keen to provide initiatives to serve the community, and recently launched a committee concerned with the legal endowment whose first goal is to provide a number of initiatives to raise awareness of this Islamic rite, and despite the short period of the formation of this committee, its performance and results are positive and varied, and we look forward with the success of God and then the guidance of His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Province to the best in this regard.
He added: Within the framework of the Chamber's interest in developing the performance of the business sector and raising the level of its national contribution, the Chamber has paid great attention to the construction sector, as the Contracting Committee is one of the most important and oldest committees in the Chamber, which includes in its membership a group of men from the sector who are keen to address the challenges faced by the national contractor
