<The meeting of the National Real Estate Committee of the Council of Chambers emphasized the need to create a ”real estate authority” to serve the real estate affairs and solve many of the obstacles that limit the expansion of real estate activity. The meeting was attended by the Chairman and members of the National Real Estate Committee of the Council of Chambers. Hamad Al-Shuwayair, Chairman of the National Real Estate Committee of the Council of Chambers and members of the committee from different regions of the Kingdom, in addition to the Chairman of the Real Estate Committee at Al-Ahsa Chamber, Engineer Khalid Al-Saleh and members of the committee. During the meeting, a number of issues related to the real estate side and the regulations and legislation that help its growth were discussed, in addition to knowing the obstacles that limit the expansion of this activity, which is the second largest investment volume in the Kingdom after oil. The attendees also looked forward to the most important requirements that should be taken into account by the Minister of Housing in charge of scarcity and development of land, building housing units and disbursing delayed mortgage loans so that the housing gap can be reduced, working on infrastructure and considering the private sector as a success partner, as this meeting came on the sidelines of the National Committee meeting session held in Ahsa and hosted by the Al-Ahsa Chamber.
