The second edition of the “Saudi Health Exhibition and Conference” will be held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 19–21, 2014, to highlight the key trends in the healthcare sector, which is experiencing remarkable growth in Saudi Arabia.
Organized through a joint partnership between Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC) and Informa Exhibitions, an integrated platform to promote effective communication among healthcare service providers, experts, regional and international suppliers and distributors, businesspeople, traders, buyers, and all stakeholders in the medical sector.

The exhibition comes at a time when the healthcare sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has witnessed steady growth over the past few years, thanks to strong government support. The Kingdom allocated 108 billion Saudi riyals from the 2014 general budget to the development of the health services and social development sectors, representing an 81% increase compared to last year’s budget. Estimates indicate that this move will help drive the growth of the local medical device market to a value of 6 billion riyals by 2018, compared to 4.1 billion riyals last year, accounting for approximately 50% of the value of the medical device sector in the Middle East.
