Strategic initiatives to reduce waste
There are a number of strategic initiatives to reduce waste, such as energy management in industrial facilities using ISO 50001 standards to improve performance and reduce waste, replacing old air conditioners with financial support of up to 1,000 riyals per device to contribute to reducing household electricity consumption, and the Virtual House of Efficiency initiative, an interactive platform aimed at educating consumers on energy saving behaviors and using appliances efficiently.
