The GRA has announced that the deadline for the first in-kind registration of real estate will expire by the end of Thursday, Rajab 5, 1447 AH, corresponding to December 25, 2025 AD. <The Real Estate Registration will end in the following neighborhoods in Madinah: (Al-Qaswa, Katana, Al-Nakheel, Al-Jama'ah, Al-Qiblatayn, part of Al-Maqr neighborhood, Al-Hafia, Al-Salam, Al-Zahra, Al-Shuhada, Al-Shuhada, Free Wabra, Al-Baraka, Edam, Al-Ayoun, Arwa, Bir Osman, Al-Jamawat, Al-Halifa, part of Tabah neighborhood, Al-Balqa, part of Ranouna neighborhood, part of Abu Buraika, part of Tayba neighborhood, part of Garden neighborhood, part of Jamaa Umm Khaled neighborhood), and registration ends in (Al-Sawari and Al-Arus neighborhood) of Jeddah governorate as well as the following neighborhoods of Majma'a governorate in Riyadh region: (Government Circles, Al-Rawda, Al-Rafiah, Al-Farousia, Second Industrial, Prince Nayef, Al-Qatar, University City, King Abdulaziz), Al-Rabea and Al-Khaleej neighborhoods in Zulfi Governorate, and the first in-kind registration ends in the following neighborhoods in Qaisumah Governorate: (Al-Rawda, Al-Khalidiya, Al-Hidaya), and in Hafar Al-Batin Governorate in the Eastern Province in the following neighborhoods: (Spring, Housing, Gulf).
She called on the owners of properties located within the scope of the neighborhoods to quickly register their properties through the Land Registry platform https://rer.sa/ before the registration period expires to benefit from the services of implementing real estate transactions and documenting all changes that occur to the property.
The Land Registry will issue a "property number" and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered. The new title deed includes the exact geographical location of the property, its owner's data, descriptions, status, rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it; to be the basis for documenting ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it, which contributes to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its main enablers.
The CRA stressed that the real estate sector is a key component of the real estate sector and its key enablers. The Authority emphasized that failure to register properties within the period specified in the announcement decision exposes their owners to the financial penalties contained in the Real Estate Registration System, which is determined by a committee specialized in considering violations, and that requests for real estate registration continue in all declared areas even after the expiration of the registration period specified in the announcement decision.
