The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) announced the addition of the electronic clearing service checks to the e-services portal, aiming to reach the collection of checks within one working day.

This step comes within the framework of the Saudi Central Bank's digital transformation strategy, which aims to automate the services provided to individuals and entities in a unified and secure digital portal on its website.

The e-services portal allows transactions to be carried out electronically instead of through traditional methods, to enhance the user experience in terms of speed of completion, ease of access and data protection using the latest technology.

The portal has been in place since the launch of the portal. Since its launch, the portal includes a number of e-services, most notably the service of inquiring about the accounts, deposits and funds of deceased trustees, the service of filing a complaint of individuals against financial institutions, the service of requesting to exercise the rights of personal data owners, requesting to join the legislative experimental environment, in addition to requesting no objection to leadership positions, and more services will be launched successively.
