<The Infrastructure Projects Center in Riyadh issued the performance report of the service agencies for January 2026, as part of its continuous approach in providing operational data and measuring the efficiency of implementing infrastructure projects, which supports raising the quality of field work and enhancing the level of commitment and coordination between the relevant authorities.<The report revealed that the total number of licenses issued since the beginning of the year reached 19,352, while the number of active licenses reached 9,856, reflecting the continued pace of work in infrastructure projects and the expansion of implementation in multiple locations within the region. The report indicated that the length of roads occupied by the projects reached 884 kilometers during the same period, an indicator that reflects the volume of field activity and the distribution of work on various service sectors, including vital facilities and service networks.
On the communications side, the center explained that the total number of communications received since the beginning of the year reached 25,085 reports, the most prominent of which were distributed among reports of gatherings (37%), landings (26%), and other reports (32%), in addition to 5% for illegal digging, which highlights the importance of continuous follow-up and improving the speed of field processing.The report also reviewed the most prominent violations observed at project sites, which included: lack of cleanliness of the work site, working without a license, and not extending licenses; as part of efforts to raise the level of compliance and improve the quality of implementation at infrastructure sites.
The center stressed that publishing performance reports periodically comes in support of the principles of transparency, raising the efficiency of coordination, and providing accurate indicators that help improve the urban landscape and raise the quality of infrastructure projects in the Riyadh region.
