Saudi Authority for Engineers carried out a field monitoring tour as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance compliance with the Engineering Professions Practice Law, which resulted in the seizure of a facility engaged in the activity of contracting in one of <a href="https://amlak.net.It was found that (55) practitioners of engineering and technical work were employed without obtaining professional accreditation from the Authority.
The Authority emphasized that professional accreditation is a legal requirement for practicing any engineering work in the Kingdom, and is a basic requirement to ensure the efficiency of practitioners, the safety of projects and the quality of engineering outputs, stressing that non-compliance exposes individuals and establishments to the statutory penalties stipulated in the system.<The Authority preceded these measures by sending text messages to the numbers of non-accredited practitioners registered in the Absher platform, as part of the # AccreditedNo campaign, to urge them to complete professional accreditation before the application of the statutory procedures.The Authority indicated that the facility and the violating individuals were referred to the Public Prosecution, according to jurisdiction, to complete the regular procedures against them, confirming the continuation of its monitoring tours on engineering establishments in various regions of the Kingdom without exception.
These efforts come within the framework of the Authority's keenness to protect the profession, raise the level of compliance, enhance community safety and the quality of development projects in the Kingdom.
