For his part, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Sultan, a member of the High Commission for the Development of Riyadh and head of the Commission’s Projects and Planning Center, that the meeting reviewed the 1437 AH population study of Riyadh City, recently prepared by the Authority as part of a series of population studies it routinely conducts to support planning, policy formulation, and decision-making in the city. He noted that the study showed the city’s population reached 6.5 million, with a growth rate of 41% during the period from 1431 to 1437 AH.
