Medina Region Municipality has announced an investment opportunity to build, operate, and maintain a commercial hotel in the Al-Qiblatayn neighborhood, as part of its efforts to enhance the investment environment and develop economically attractive sites through the “Fursat” investment portal for Saudi cities.
The Secretariat clarified that the opportunity is located at the intersection of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Road and Khalid bin Al-Waleed Road, next to Al-Qiblatayn Mosque, one of the most prominent Islamic landmarks in Madinah, within an integrated, multi-use urban area, thereby contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and diversity of uses. It noted that the project covers an area of 6,550.21 square meters, with an investment contract lasting up to 50 years and a grace period of 36 months, and aims to construct, operate, and maintain a commercial hotel building that meets the needs of visitors and Umrah pilgrims and contributes to supporting economic activity in the region.
The Secretariat noted that the site is characterized by a steady flow of visitors and Umrah pilgrims throughout the year, which enhances opportunities for sustainable investment returns, inviting investors and those interested in reviewing the details of the opportunity and applying for it to visit the “Fursat” investment portal for Saudi cities.

The Madinah Municipality has also launched an investment opportunity to establish, operate, and maintain a mixed-use site on the Wadi Al-Aqiq Corniche, as part of its efforts to promote urban investment and develop economically attractive sites, through the “Fursat” Saudi Cities Investment Portal. The Secretariat clarified that the opportunity is located in the Al-Jamwat neighborhood at the intersection of Wadi Al-Aqiq Corniche Road and Abi Al-Hasan Al-Asfara’ini Road, on a plot of 79,316.66 square meters, with an investment contract lasting up to 50 years and a grace period of 36 months.

It noted that the project aims to construct a mixed-use building that will include commercial, administrative, hospitality, entertainment, residential, and healthcare activities, taking advantage of its strategic location approximately 5 kilometers from the Prophet’s Mosque, easy access via major roads, and its location within an urban area experiencing growth and expansion in commercial and service activities.

The Secretariat noted that the site is distinguished by its proximity to residential projects and hospitality facilities, in addition to the high population density and constant flow of visitors and residents, which enhances investment opportunities and the potential for sustainable economic returns.
