Economic diversification
The workshop, which brought together a large number of interested and specialized people, also recommended the need to conduct detailed studies after completing the analysis and focus on identifying the initial stages, after developing the master plan, adopting design standards, balancing the human and spatial environment and using modern technologies to treat the environment, in addition to the importance of integrating efforts between all government and private sectors to deal with pollution sources in the region, and reviewed in this regard examples of successful partnerships between the public and private sectors.

Developing the Gulf and creating 4 islands for recreation and tourism
For his part, Engineer Ibrahim Kotbakhana, CEO of Jeddah Development and Urban Development Company, confirmed that the total length of the coastline in the Gulf is about 466 kilometers, of which 52% is private property, and it is expected that about 4 meters of deepening will be dug to connect the Gulf with the sea, in addition to implementing a 35 km long corniche of the Gulf, and will be done according to deep studies that achieve gains and benefits for all parties, including citizens and investors, and create about 4 islands and allocate them for recreational and industrial investment.
In the same context, Engineer Nidal Taiba, Vice President for Technical Affairs and Projects for Jeddah Development and Urban Development Company, explained that the Salman Bay Development Project aims to address the sustainable environmental treatment of the area and ways to address the irregular encroachments and landfill, which contributed to the blockage of the bay's communication channels with the sea and the possibility of eliminating pollution sources with the latest technology and developing the tourist interface and connecting it to road networks and creating a modern infrastructure system to attract tourism and entertainment investment in the lands surrounding the bay, in addition to creating a cultural and commercial communication gate to the world through developing an effective area for cultural and commercial communication with the world.

For his part, Ibrahim Al-Kreeda, General Manager of Ibrahim Ali Al-Kreeda and his partner for real estate investments, called for the importance of accelerating the preparation of King Saud Road, which is considered a major artery in the area, which he described as vital, noting the presence of some plans in it, such as 29A and B plan, Dahiya 99 and others, He called for cooperation between all parties (the Municipality, the private sector and citizens) to raise the level of the area, and praised the meeting, which was effective, and thanked the speakers who enriched the discussion so that it comes out with important recommendations that help develop Salman Bay.
A development company and a fund for financing
In his intervention, Ibrahim Al-Subaie (one of the founders of Bank Albilad) recommended the establishment of a holding company of owners and developers, indicating that owners can choose either to sell or continue in partnership by owning shares in the company, and reviewed his proposal to establish a fund through banks and financial media, calling on the competent authorities not to rush to achieve profits, referring to similar projects in the UAE. For his part, businessman and investor in Salman Bay, Dr. Ahmed Ashour warned of an environmental disaster due to the waste of factories and workshops, which they worked a lot to reduce it and raised slogans to warn of this coming danger, and Ashour said that the competent committee has made great efforts to preserve Salman Bay, where the committee has established many works such as roads and temporary bridges.
