His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (SAQEEM), Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, launched the website of the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (TAQEEM) under the domain WWW.TAQEEM.GOV.SA.
The website contains a number of regulatory and introductory materials and specialized questionnaires that help the Authority formulate its programs and develop its performance. The site allows the participation of those wishing to express their opinions and contributions about the site, the draft executive regulations of the Authority, the Saudi Valuation Standards and the proposed qualification model.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Commission for Certified Valuers was established by Royal Decree No. (M/43) dated (9/7/1433 H), which defined its objectives in “preparing, developing and adopting unified standards for all branches of valuation, and standards for each of its branches (real estate, economic establishments, equipment and movable property), setting the necessary general rules for the fellowship certificate examination for each branch of valuation, organizing continuing professional education courses to develop the level of those belonging to the profession, participating in local and international seminars and committees related to the valuation profession, preparing research and studies and issuing periodicals and books on valuation and what
