Jeddah's Big 5 Exhibition insists on hosting large companies... 400 exhibitors and 54 workshops at the event

The Big 5 Saudi exhibition, featuring 400 exhibitors representing 18 countries, ran from March 6– 8 March at the Jeddah Convention and Events Center. The opening ceremony was attended by high-level government and diplomatic officials, as well as business leaders and interested parties; The ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Ziad bin Bassam Mohammed Al-Bassam, Vice Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers in Jeddah, along with Sharif Mohammed Al-Rajhi, German Consul General Holger Siegler, and Turkish Consul Akef Manousha.

The Need to Host Large Companies

After cutting the ribbon, Al-Bassam expressed his delight at what he saw at the exhibition and the modern products on display that contribute to urban development using cutting-edge technologies.

He said that international partnerships are now more essential than ever for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to strengthen such partnerships in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030,

Al-Bassam noted that he had seen a wide range of construction solutions and building materials, including kitchen and bathroom fixtures, smart city resources, solar technology and energy, and steel, as well as PMV equipment, concrete, and materials used in outdoor areas specificallyfor heavy equipment and storage products.

He emphasized that these exhibitions serve to raise the level of performance and efficiency and to forge important partnerships aimed at achieving results and advancing sustainable development, and noted that the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry is making all its resources available to all participants and providing them with services and advice.

54 free workshops

For his part, Ibrahim Al-Balushi, Country Manager for JLL in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that ”with a population growing faster than that of its neighbors in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the construction industry in Saudi Arabia has tremendous potential for growth.”

The exhibition offered an expanded educational program this year through 54 free workshops accredited for continuing professional development, with sessions led by trusted regional experts,? which were divided into topics presented across three halls: General Construction and Project Management, Sustainability, and Architecture and Design.
