<The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MoEWA) has recently noticed announcements from some companies, real estate offices and individuals about the sale of plans prepared on agricultural lands, without the approval of the Ministry, or the approval of the plans for retail from the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.The Undersecretary of the Ministry for Lands and Surveys, Engineer Saleh Al-Luhaidan, confirmed that this step is a violation of the controls approved for retailing by Cabinet Decision No. (119) dated 19/4/1437H, as well as the controls and mechanism prepared in coordination between the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.
Al-Luhaidan called on companies, real estate offices and individuals to refrain from selling any plan on agricultural land without the approval of the Ministry, and called for the approval of plans for retailing by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.
