Data from the Ministry of Justice showed that the number of mortgaged properties documented by notaries in the Kingdom is about 19 thousand properties, since the beginning of the current Hijri year (130 days), where residential properties accounted for about 70% of them.

Tabuk region recorded 929 properties, followed by Qassim region 925 properties, Medina region 905 properties, Jazan region 322 properties, Hail 286 properties, and Najran 246 properties. <Al-Jouf region recorded 235 mortgaged properties since the beginning of the current Hijri year, then Al-Baha region 183 properties, followed by Northern Borders 109 properties.
