The forum addressed the definition of the economic advantages of the code, the roles of government agencies and incentivizing engineering offices to apply the Saudi Building Code to buildings and facilities, where the Secretary General of the Authority, Engineer Abdulnasser Al-Abdullatif, emphasized the importance of the Saudi Building Code and the roles it plays, and the achievements it provides to society.

In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Council of Engineers pointed out the essential role of the engineering field in the Saudi Building Code, in addition to the contributions of the Commission through its training programs on the areas of the code in order to raise the readiness of engineering cadres in applying the Saudi Building Code.
