The monthly bulletin issued by the General Authority for Statistics revealed that cement prices rose in the Saudi market during the month of December, while three categories of concrete fell during the same month, on a monthly basis.
The Bulletin of Average Prices of Goods and Services issued by the Statistics Authority showed that the price of black cement (50 kg) recorded SR14.83, up by 0.7% month-on-month and 0.6% year-on-year.

While the price of white cement in December recorded about 37.25 riyals, up by 0.2%, month-on-month, and down by 3.4%, year-on-year.
Concrete prices
As for concrete prices, the price of concrete (350K resistant) in December recorded about 210.7 riyals, up by 0.4% on a monthly basis. It declined by 5.3% year-on-year.
<The price of concrete (250K resistant) recorded SAR 188.61, down by 0.7% and 6.1% month-on-month and year-on-year, respectively. The price of concrete (350K ordinary) reached SR197.95 per cubic meter, down by 0.9% and 7% month-on-month and year-on-year, respectively, and the price of concrete (250K ordinary) fell to SR179.35, down by 0.4% month-on-month and 6.2% year-on-year.

Sand Prices
White sand prices recorded 61.53 riyals, down by 0.8% month-on-month and up by 0.9% year-on-year, while the price of red sand increased by 1.8% and 5.7% month-on-month and year-on-year respectively, recording 27.8 riyals.
